"At a time when it seems like the cost of everything is going through the roof, when the insurance agent calls and says they’d like to set up a meeting to review all of your coverages, it’s easy to go to a mental place of “uh-oh…what’s this going to cost me by the time we are done ?” But that’s not what happened at all. Because having multiple coverages (life, home, auto, etc…) with the same agent can be so advantageous, it is equally important to make sure you are getting all the right discounts as it is to make sure you have proper coverage. Claire is always amazing and so very detailed with her clear explanations about things and Tracy was super quick with a change I wanted to make after the review. This is as good as it gets…having a comfort level and a trust and confidence in your agent and her staff to a point where you look forward to a conversation with them instead of feeling apprehensive. I was calculating the other day - I have had policies with State Farm for around 41 years…and not once have I ever had anything other than a calm, rational, excellent experience with them - even when there have been complicated claims. "What seemed like high replacement cost estimates for my house, I went into the office and met with Tracy Gentry who suggested we sit down and go over the particulars of my house. After going over everything, she found that the estimate was too high and submitted the necessary changes to bring the estimate back to a more reasonable amount. She also had another suggestion that resulted in a negligible savings. While I was there, she also looked at my car insurance and suggested some changes that, while they would increase the cost of my policy a small amount, would better protect me given the current high prices of vehicles. Overall, she took the time to listen to what I had to say and gave what she considered appropriate advice for my situation. I felt the time spent was productive and the visit worthwhile."
